An Olive & Grace community initiative · Beginning March 2027
The Gift of Grace
Because sometimes the most meaningful gift is a little space to breathe.
Some seasons ask more of us than we have to give. When illness, caregiving, parenting or an unexpected life change fills the days, even one overwhelmed space can become another weight to carry.
The Gift of Grace offers practical care to a local household navigating a difficult or demanding season—a little help, a fresh start and room for what matters most.
One space. A little breathing room.
What the gift includes
Each selected household receives a no-cost, targeted 3–4 hour organizing session or reset of one space. Together, we’ll choose a manageable project that can make everyday life feel lighter, such as a pantry, closet, laundry area or family space.
Olive & Grace donates the organizing time. Supplies may be included when resources are available.
Who it’s for
This initiative is for households in Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas who could use practical support, including single moms, women living with illness, foster and adoptive families, families with special needs, and those walking through a difficult transition.
No perfect home or polished story is expected. The heart of this gift is care without judgment.
A rhythm of giving
Four seasons of grace
Selections are planned each year in March, June, September and December, beginning in March 2027.
The December edition is a special New Year Reset: the recipient will be selected and notified at the end of December, with the project beginning in January of the following year. The gift may be expanded depending on the support available.

Community contributions can help provide organizing supplies for selected projects. Each project’s supply budget and any additional support depend on the funds and resources available at the time; a fixed dollar amount or full makeover is not guaranteed.
Olive & Grace is a for-profit business, not a nonprofit organization. Contributions to The Gift of Grace are not tax-deductible charitable donations.
Ways to support the initiative will be shared here as the first selection approaches.
A manageable space. A lighter day. A reminder that you’re not alone.
